Autism Society of Alabama in collaboration with Alabama Respite will offer respite programs throughout the state. Respite means break for a caregiver. A break can mean so much to a parent or family member caring for a child or adult with ASD. ASA completed a pilot respite program this summer and would like to grant a break, grant respite hours to families in AL.
ASA will provide families with approximately 20 hours of respite one time annually.
The Respite Program will serve families in all 67 counties throughout 2017.
