SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM All children should be happy and have an enjoyable summer! That is why we have developed a program that incorporates fun activities for the summer based around themes that are unusual and different.
We explore different cultures and topics while including appropriate social, behavioral and educational goals for the children enrolled in the program. Some of our themes for this summer are;
Camping in the Great Outdoors Pets: The Animals we love Travels around the world: Mexico, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe Secrets of the Dirt: Fossils and Dinosaurs
Educationally we will embed academics such as math, geography, fine motor
and group games.
Behaviorally, we will focus on working together, team building activities and developing good social skills.
All children will participate in a social skills development program during the camp day. For children with social delays, parents may request a social skills assessment. The child will then be placed in a ten week program which allows progress to be monitored on an individualized basis.
Children with developmental delays may require different activities and we have planned for that as well. The alternative activities remain on the topic for the week and are designed to teach the appropriate goal.
To enroll for the program, or for more information call Premier Collaborations Child Development Center at 256-464-8405
SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS This summer program assists children during the summer months to continue to make gains in many developmental areas. Specific areas of focus throughout the day are

This program is designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who oversees the camp. The camp utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and takes advantage of the teachable, natural environment strategies within the principles. The ratio of teacher to student is a 2:1 ratio allowing the teacher the opportunity to give guidance and instruction throughout the day.
Activities are designed to provide your child with many enjoyable activities. The typical day begins with a large group circle around the theme of the week, calendar skills, song and other typical activities found in the regular classroom. This is followed by a topical activity, restroom break and a morning snack. After snack, the children will engage in gross motor activities and a sensory art activity based on the theme. The children will also have a music time before going outside. When they come back in, there is a small group social game time while the children prepare for lunch and a quite time/nap. The afternoon offers a second opportunity for each of these skills to be practiced while continuing to remain on theme.
You can be assured that your child will have an enjoyable, fun filled summer while learning new skills! Please call to schedule a tour of our facility and discuss your family needs for the summer months! We have a half day program that runs from 8 am to 12 pm, as well as a full day program that runs from 8 am until 5 pm.
