I did for one year. I had trouble getting the OT my son needed. He is in public school now. How is it going for your child?

My son is 9 and there have been moments that I have also considered home school. But, as the other poster said, there is no way that I could provide or he could obtain the consistant and wonderful special services, OT and ST that he gets everyday at school. Also the social interaction and social skills that he learns by being in school each day is invaluable to him learning to live and interact in the world and with the world.

Mamabear in me would like to keep him close by.
But the reality is that I will not always be hear and my most important job is to prepare him for that day and to make sure he reaches his full potential.

Also, because he is in a public school, this gives me the opportunity to advocate for him and hopefully other ASD kids who will follow behind him.
