Anyone here in the huntsville area? I am new to the area, and am wondering what resources are here.

Welcome to Huntsville. Check the Making Connections website. Lots of resources and there is a meeting this weekend. We'd love to meet you.

Thanks, I'd forgotten about that site. I may not be able to make this meeting, but I will try.

You will definately want to meet up with the Making Connections group. There are actually a variety of services available in your area. Jennifer Robertson, our information and referral, coordinator will be glad to discuss them with you.

ASA recently purchased a large variety of books for the main public library there in Huntsville. You may want to check that out.

Also, look forward to the Making Connections/ASA conference to be held at Whitesburg Baptist Church in October.

We hope that you will consider joining ASA as we continue to work statwide to improve service availability and accesibility.
