Adult Forum

The Alabama Autism Collaborative Group will host a community forum for post-high school adults with high-functioning autism and Asperger's Syndrome to learn more about the experience of adults with ASD in Alabama.

May 1st, 2008

6:00 – 6:30 p.m.—Reception

6:30 – 8:00 p.m. – Forum

*Parents and caregivers of adults with ASD are invited to attend a smaller focus group concerning caregiver needs during the community forum.

 

Directions to the Psychology Clinic

 From I-59 (South from Birmingham):
  • Exit HWY 82 West (McFarland Blvd exit 73) and go right at the end of the ramp onto McFarland Blvd.
  • Take 82 until University Blvd. exit
  • Turn right (west) at the top of the exit ramp
  • Go past DCH Hospital on your left, past Arby’s at the light
  • Take your second right to enter the parking lot (after 6 p.m., you may park in any available space that is not reserved for the handicapped, university vehicles or clinic clients)
  • The Psychology Clinic entrance is on the side of the large building next to the parking lot—there is a small sign that says Psychology Clinic near the entrance
  • After you enter the building, go up the half flight of stairs into the Psychology Clinic and a staff member will direct you to the room
