In a dramatic turn of events what we had come to know as House Bill 150 (or the Alabama Autism Support Act) passed the Senate in Special Session today.  Thanks to each of you that called, wrote and took the time to visit your legislators personally.  It really made a difference.  

The Alabama Autism Support Act will establish a permanent Council that will allow for greater support for individuals with Autism and Asperger Syndrome.  We look forward to Governor Riley signing this important piece of legislation into law. 

Once again, we thank Rep. Cam Ward for his tireless efforts on behalf of individuals living with ASD in Alabama.
